What is Hotelarific?
Hotelarific does collaborative hotel recommendations for independent travelers. Hmm? What does that mean?
Basically, you, the community, control what appears on these pages: hotel descriptions, reviews, ratings, locations and tags are all open to be modified. This open nature also extends to other areas like city descriptions* and travel guides*. Think of it as a wiki for hotels.
This common wisdom attempts to bring a fairness and honesty to hotel listings and recommendations which is not seen on other sites (where reviews are often deleted or manipulated). This is especially valuable for independent travelers wanting to find the right accomodation for them.
Hotelarific bundles up all this goodness and sprinkles on some great additional features.

But, Who Are We?
Hotelarific is a product of 33eels. Inspired by Wikipedia and Wikitravel, we started in 2007, hoping to create a small revolution in the hotel recommendation world. By the way, the word Hotelarific is a portmanteau of "Hotel" and "Terrific".
